Most Straws even when put in recycle bins end up in nature due to their size.
Various animals have a tendency to eat straws they find in landfill or at sea. For instance seabirds carry the human equivalent of 25 pounds of plastic in their stomach at all times. Unfortunately Plastic, Paper and Bioplastics are not digestible by animals. That is why we made our straws edible and digestible so that even if they end up in nature they're of no harm and are actually nutritious for the animals who consume it.
3. WHO WE ARE
We're not environmental activists. You won't find us at any PETA meetings ( unless maybe they're serving Free tacos). We're just two regular dudes who decided to contribute in doing the right thing for the sole reason that we could.
We also believe that it is within anybody's reach to contribute positively to nature.
