Texas-based Turner Company is a manufacturer of precast concrete products from facilities in Rhome and Lockhart to supply contractors and municipalities in the Texas Triangle. The Lockhart facility features the BFS Souveraen fully automated concrete pipe plant.
Turner Company expanded its reach by opening a second precast concrete production facility in Lockhart in August 2019. The new robotic facility is supplying manholes, precast concrete pipe in diameters from 18 to 60 inches, and precast boxes for culverts and other applications.
The company is a family owned business established in 1980 by Leo Turner. In its early beginnings the company was involved in both commercial and residential construction, but rapid growth presented opportunity to expand into the precast business producing septic tanks, grease traps, storm cellars and manholes.
