Tutor In Law offers a full-range of remote tutoring services and products for law students including course materials, skill-building guides, private and group tutoring, essay grading, and a subscription service. Every offering is crafted with the modern law student in mind- the one who is working, taking night classes, or raising a family. In addition to working directly with students, Tutor In Law works with law schools to provide support to students before exams and throughout the semester. Tutor In Law’s mission is to make tutoring more accessible and affordable for law students who come from non-traditional backgrounds and lack resources. Discounts will be provided to women of color and single mothers.
About the Founder:
Mahliya Montgomery graduated magna cum laude in 2020 from Lincoln Law of Sacramento. After participating as a tutor in Lincoln's Friday Night Review Program for three years, Mahliya realized her passion for teaching the law and began offering private tutoring to fellow law students. While in law school, Mahliya balanced her studies with single parenthood and working part-time as a law clerk. This experience has given Mahliya a unique skillset which allows her to provide guidance to today's law students who are busier than ever.
Tutor In Law will be launching in February 2022.
