After more than 8 years in business, the site keeps attracting dedicated users and keeps expanding in scope, with over 200 million races and 300 billion words typed by users, over a million lines of code written by developers, and 100,000 new races completed every day.
Our primary mission is to provide a free educational recreation opportunities to everyone around the world, but we also license our technology via TypeRacer School Edition™ (typeracer.org) to schools who prefer to host a private TypeRacer environment for their students and have a custom set of educational texts to be typed.
