The University of British Columbia's Mining Engineering Class of 2023 is headed to Australia this May for our graduation field trip! Each year, the graduating class organizes a national or international research trip to gain valuable industry insight on a global level. These trips have taken students across the world to Chile, South Africa, Indonesia, and other countries to enhance our knowledge of the mining industry and to experience new cultures.
