Undergraduate Research Opportunities (URO) at UBC is dedicated to empowering undergraduate students with meaningful research experience. Through a range of programs, events, and services, we aim to expand student engagement and participation in research across the UBC community.
Our ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฐ๐ต ๐๐ซ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ด๐ฟ๐ฎ๐บ (๐ฅ๐๐ซ) guides students through developing their own research projects, culminating in presentations at BCโs largest undergraduate research conferenceโno prior experience required.
In November, we host ๐๐ถ๐ณ๐ฒ ๐ฆ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฐ๐ต ๐ก๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐ (๐๐ฆ๐ฅ๐ก), an event for students to connect with leading researchers and engage in workshops designed to spark interest in life sciences research.
