The company was started in 1973 by Mr M.B.Vaishampayan, as a one-man operation for manufacturing hand-operated "Bursting Strength Testers" for the Paper and Packaging Industry. Later on, Mr A.M Paranjpe joined him. Over a period of time, a range of products has been developed for Testing Paper, Corrugation, Plastics and Packaging Materials. Ubique also manufactures machines for Quality control of the Packaging materials and the end product. A range of products is available for testing the Road Worthiness of the Packaging media.
Ubique simultaneously started manufacturing Testing Machines for the Automotive Industry.
Keeping in pace with the need of the industry for the manufacture of special purpose machines, Ubique Systems was incorporated in 1989 for the manufacture of "Special Purpose Testing Machines". We have, over the past 35 years, adapted to the rapidly changing needs of the industry and today we proudly offer our Products, Services and Turnkey Solutions to a wide variety of industries.
