The Uday Foundation is a non-profit organisation based in New Delhi, India. The foundation works on health, support and dignity to homeless and disaster relief.
In 2006 ,Rahul's verma son Uday was born with multiple congenital anomalies. The survival rate was very low but still he decided to fight . His son had to stay for 12 months in hospital then he saw real India who was suffering from hunger and lack of sanitation who were waiting outside hospital for treatment. After experiencing the terrible life of people at hospital , Rahul quit his job and decided to provide food and clothes to the patients and attendants both which led to found "Uday" as symbol of 'Rise like sun'.
