The UDS School of Business has a history that dates back to two decades. Formerly at the UDS Wa campus, the erstwhile School of Business and Law played a critical role in business and management education in Northern Ghana and beyond. Following the autonomous status granted to UDS campuses to become independent Universities, the business and management education offerings by UDS became dormant. In 2022, the visionary leadership of the VC, Prof. Alhassan Seidu re-established the UDS School of Business following the dissolution of the School of Applied Economics and Management Sciences which had played a temporal and critical role during the transition periods of UDS autonomous campuses. Today, the UDS School of Business is out with a determination to reclaim its place in business and management education in Ghana.
