The University of Florida College of Medicine Department of Anesthesiology comprises more than 90 clinical faculty, 10 research faculty, 95 residents, 21 fellows, 68 CRNAs and CAAs, and 47 administrative staff.
Our anesthesiology faculty are trained in a variety of clinical subspecialties including critical care medicine, pediatrics, congenital heart anesthesiology, obstetric anesthesiology, and pain medicine. Research interests of our faculty span clinical and basic science, cognition, simulation training, and neurodegenerative disorders. Faculty typically publish more than 20 books/book chapters and 130 manuscripts each year and the department holds over 100 patents.
