The UILS Student Law Review (USLR) is a peer-reviewed bi-annual journal published by the Student Editorial-Board of University Institute of Legal Studies, Panjab University, Chandigarh. The inaugural edition of the Journal (Volume I, Issue I) was recently unveiled in June, 2024. The Journal seeks to publish quality submissions on issues of contemporary legal relevance. It also promotes a healthy discourse by providing a platform to enable exposure to authors’ diligent efforts portrayed through their work.
We look forward to receive submissions exploring nuanced aspects of law in the form of articles, book reviews and legislative comments. Academicians, scholars and students are welcome to submit their manuscripts. Authors may choose to analyse pertinent issues currently prevailing in the field of law, explore the intersection of law and political science, economics, sociology and other social sciences or a comparative analysis with the laws of other countries. Each submission would undergo a rigorous review process comprising of initial screening by the Student Editorial Board followed by a rigorous review process by academicians and industry experts. The Board endeavours to complete the review process as expeditiously as possible and provide individual feedback to authors.
