The UIU Mars Rover team is formed with more than 25 members of the UIU Robotics Club from different educational backgrounds, including computer science, electrical science and business. This team contains excellent enthusiastic people working in several fields of robotics and automation, such as embedded systems, reinforcement learning, autonomous navigation, drones, 3D design and simulation, detection of life in soil and rock samples, etc. The research team is directly supervised by Lecturer Akib Zaman, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, United International University. The members of the team are divided into 6 subteams named Electrical, Software, Mechanical, Communication, Science and Management.
