UltraFast Innovations GmbH (UFI) is a young and dynamic company located in Garching, close to Munich.
UltraFast Innovations develops, manufactures and merchandises custom-made optics and optical devices for ultra-short pulse laser applications.
UFI was founded in 2009 as a spin-off from the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU) and the Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics (MPQ), in particular from the research groups of Prof. Ferenc Krausz and Prof. Ulf Kleineberg. Our roots date back to the inception of chirped mirrors in the 1990s.
