Founded in 1972 in Istanbul, Umar Makina pioneered the metal packaging industry in Türkiye by developing and selling the country’s first Automatic Seam Welding Machine. In 1978, we achieved another milestone by exporting the first metal packaging machine from Türkiye—an accomplishment officially recognized in Turkish industrial history.
With over 50 years of expertise, Umar Makina designs and manufactures fully and semi-automatic metal packaging machines, delivers turnkey automation solutions, and builds fully integrated production facilities. Today, we export 85% of our annual production, serving a global network of customers.
Our machines operate in over 50 countries, including the Netherlands, Slovenia, Portugal, Italy, Spain, France, the UK, Greece, the UAE, Russia, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Azerbaijan, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and beyond.
