Umbrelă Foundation

Umbrelă is a non-profit, non-political, voluntary, charitable organization established for providing safe shelter, food & nutrition, clothing, clean water, education and skills training to destitute women and abandoned children in Bangladesh. At Umbrelă, we focus on the physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual needs of these women and children who are being neglected and truly deprived of love and care. Umbrelă is founded on the promise of lending a modest yet sincere hand to the destitute women and children in Bangladesh who are at risk situations, making them feel loved, helping them grow by providing education, ensuring health, nutrition and hygiene, providing them with clean water, protecting them from the abusive environment and giving them psychological counselling and vocational training.
