Kind Kulture, formerly known as Umuco Love Inc., is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization rooted in the belief that storytelling is a powerful tool for healing, transformation, and social change.
Founded by genocide survivor and author Dydine Umunyana, Kind Kulture was born from a deep desire to restore dignity, foster empathy, and ignite action in communities impacted by war, trauma, and injustice. What began as a storytelling initiative under Umuco Love has grown into a global platform for peace-building, cultural preservation, and collective healing.
Through art, education, multimedia, and community-based initiatives, Kind Kulture amplifies underrepresented voices—especially those of women, immigrants, and survivors—while mobilizing resources to support mental health, social justice, and economic empowerment projects around the world.
