UNH Civil Discourse Lab Overview

The mission of the Civil Discourse Lab for Collaborative Leadership and the Public Good is to strengthen the ability of students and community members to conduct meaningful conversations, collaborate, and weigh decisions around sometimes difficult but important topics to a civil society through research, experiential learning, and praxis. We strive to connect cutting-edge research to the most important questions about “what we should do” together as citizens in our communities. The Civil Discourse Lab serves UNH students, faculty, and staff; UNH alumni and local community members; and members of the New England community who participate in campus events. The Department of Communication in the College of Liberal Arts houses the Lab.
