The LunaCats are UNH’s Lunabotics team. Lunabotics is a NASA-sponsored robotics competition where teams design and build robots capable of autonomously excavating simulated lunar regolith.
The competition is part of NASA's Artemis mission, which aims to return humans to the Moon and establish a sustainable presence. Teams face real-world engineering challenges, such as dealing with abrasive regolith, while integrating mobility, autonomy, and sensor systems.
