The United Nations Industrial Development Organization launched its Global Programme for Hydrogen in Industry to support a just hydrogen transition in developing countries by putting social and environmental responsibilities in focus.
Through the Programme, UNIDO aims to influence the development of market polices, standards, skills, financing instruments, innovation and coordination between key stakeholders that play an essential role in the development of a hydrogen economy.
The Programme consists of the Global Partnership for Hydrogen in Industry (global intervention) and the Technical Cooperation (country-specific interventions).
