Unifa unites the interests of the Belgian bakery raw materials industry in the areas of food legislation, trade shows, education, packaging and food safety. To this end, it liaises with the authorities and other bodies in the sector.
The association, founded in 1956, brings together the main companies within the bakery sector. It represents a turnover of 200 million Euros and offers 1500 direct jobs.
Unifa is a member of FEDIMA, the European sectoral organization for the bakery raw materials industry, and of FEVIA, the Belgian Federation of the Food Industry.
