Unique Kidz & Co, founded in 2009 by two mums, is an OFSTED registered childcare service for disabled children, young adults and their families. Unable to find suitable childcare for their own disabled children, Jane & Denise created the charity which originally provided afterschool and holiday clubs for children aged 5-18. The charity has now extended it's services to include '4Ever Unique', which provides daytime support for young adults aged 16-25 and runs from its own building in Morecambe.
It is our mission to provide children with disabilities with the same opportunities as other children in a fun, friendly and stimulating environment.
Unique Kidz also has a 'Stay and Play Group' for disabled children up to the age of 5 and their families. It also runs a 'Siblings Group' which meets twice a month to support the needs of young people aged 8-18 who have a sibling with disabilities.
The quality of our services has been recognised nationally by winning various awards, Children in Need funding and an Outstanding rating by OFSTED in 2010, 2014 and 2016.
