Unison Medicines discovers and develops first-in-class medicines for the front-line treatment of bacterial infections. We target bacterial stress responses, which means we shut down bacterial defenses. We envision our medicines will be used as potentiators for currently approved drugs, restoring the efficacy of cheap generics. Or, they will be used as single agents, potentiating the immune system while remaining gentle to the microbiome.
Our pipeline is made of up small molecules, which are patient-friendly and enable ease of manufacture and distribution. We work with some of the best drug hunters in the world.
We spun out of MIT and are headquartered in Cambridge, MA.
