United4Mahsa

We are United4Mahsa, an independent non-partisan social activist group launched against the backdrop of the recent event. United4Mahsa focuses on bringing attention to human rights issues in Iran via campaigning. The goal is to become a civil society and lobbying NGO that champions a contemporary rhetoric of how the basic human rights of Iranian people are being violated under the Islamic regime. We are seeking to build a platform for an open and inclusive dialogue and raise awareness as well as the sociopolitical discourse around these topics. Perhaps most importantly, we aim to fill the gap between the one-sided, politically influenced narratives followed by mainstream media on different ends of political spectrums to come up with meaningful solutions for rectifying human rights abuses in Iran and plans to achieve them. The United4Mahsa team is a collective of multinational, multigender people with a shared passion for human rights. We come from different backgrounds and have varied expertise in law and policy, finance, volunteering, campaigning, content development, and project management. But we all envision one thing: a free and peaceful Iran that is a safe place for ALL Iranians.
