(UCC) was founded in 1931 when Archie and his son, Norvel E. Smith, formed a partnership, added Master Builder services, and changed the name to Universal Construction Company, Inc. Since 1931, UCC has provided services in 22 states and completed over a thousand projects totaling more than a billion dollars of construction value.
