Universwater

Water quality and quantity face increasing pressure from agricultural activities, often leading to overexploitation and pollutant runoff. Climate change compounds these stresses, posing complex challenges for agri-water management. The UNIVERSWATER is an EU-funded project involving a consortium, of 15 partners from six European countries. The project intends to develop innovative sensors, earth observation imaging, AI techniques, and sustainable remediation methods. These technologies will integrate into decision support systems tested in various case studies, ultimately creating a universal, adaptable platform for optimising water resources.
