The association aims to provide an open discussion for students to be more aware of dilemmas that occur within the medical field, all while strengthening their critical thinking skills, increasing exposure to scientific literature, and showcasing opportunities for students to interact with each other and professionals within the field. For long-term goals, it is in our best interest to establish a forum that creates a safe space for people to strengthen and develop their writing skills and formulate an argument supported by research and empirical papers. This initiative exposes students to viewpoints that differ from their own and push them to develop arguments unlike their own.
