UP Piccola Italia is the premier student organization based in the University of the Philippines dedicated to promoting the Italian language and culture in the Philippines since our establishment in 1999. Our efforts and endeavors over the years have led to the commendation and conferment of a plaque of recognition to our organization by the Government of Italy, represented by His Excellency Massimo Roscigno, the Ambassador of Italy to the Philippines, in 2015. The organization holds events and provides academic assistance regarding the Italian language and culture, primarily to the students of UP, facilitates career assistance programs for Italian majors and minors, and establishes connections and coordinates with Italian institutions.
