UPDATE is a research project that aims to develop a new generation of classification of highly processed foods by considering their nutritional content and potential health effects of the food matrix.
Prof. Susanne Bügel and Prof. Inge Tetens from the Department of Nutrition, Exercise and Sports (NEXS) of the University of Copenhagen (UCPH) lead the project in collaboration with Prof. Dr. David Ludwig (Harvard University and Steno Diabetes Center).
This project is funded by the Novo Nordisk Foundation.
