About Urology Management Alliance (UMA)
Founded in 2024, the Urology Management Alliance (UMA) was established by a coalition of independent private practice urology groups across the country. Our mission is to empower private urology practices by providing strategic resources, collaboration opportunities, and enhanced financial leverage.
Our Objectives
UMA is dedicated to:
• Preserving Independence – Offering an alternative to hospital or private equity acquisitions, allowing urology practices to maintain autonomy while benefiting from collective purchasing power.
• Fostering Collaboration – Creating a forum where like-minded urology practices can exchange best practices in financial, clinical, and operational management.
• Expanding Opportunities – Providing small, medium, and large practices with access to strategic initiatives and resources that would be otherwise unattainable without alliance collaboration.
