The USC Value Investing Group formed in the spring of 2009 with the aim to create a community of high-achieving students with a passion for value investing. The group prides itself on its intellectual rigor, elite membership, vast industry knowledge, and a tight-knit alumni network. Our mission is to maintain the learning-centric community envisioned by the founders, where members can start on life’s path towards reaching investing excellence by exploring valuation methodologies, stock selection practices, and market evaluation strategies.
The Value Investing Group has the privilege of representing the University of Southern California at annual stock pitch competitions across the nation including Michigan, Harvard and Georgetown. Additionally, VIG founded the inaugural West Coast stock conference at USC in 2016 and, since then, has annually hosted schools from around the world.
