The USC School of Cinematic Arts's Office of Industry Relations provides career development assistance to USC Cinema students and alumni, hosting career fairs, monthly industry guest lectures, panels, seminars, workshops and Q&As by industry professionals.
Staffed by long-time industry professionals, Industry Relations will provide you with a broad range of services including resume review, career planning, networking tips, career seminars, and the SCA Job Board, which is constantly updated with leads to employment and internship opportunities in film, television, games, and interactive media. IR organizes Q&As with high-profile leaders in entertainment who are at the forefront of the industry, and also organizes networking events for students, alumni, and other industry professionals.
Our staff assists SCA students and alumni with strategies on festivals and distribution for their projects. We also negotiate distribution deals for USC-produced projects, from broadcasts on HBO to streaming on iTunes or Amazon.
