With 12 years of existence, Coletivo Usina dos Atos aims to develop projects in the areas of Culture, Education and Human Rights. Over the years, he has developed 6 editions of the 1st CENA Project, an initiative of Popular Education and Art Education aimed at youth. It created the Activities Club Program, which brings together actions to strengthen collective practices and solidarity economy in the territories, in addition to diverse artistic productions, with themes always relevant to our peripheries.
Our activities take place in the East and South Zones of São Paulo, more precisely in the neighborhoods of Cidade Tiradentes, Guaianases, Grajaú, Cidade Dutra and Parelheiros.
The Collective considers the formation of critical thinking essential and, above all, the manifestation of the human being as an agent of transformation. When thinking about a fair and purposeful society, it visualizes different social movements, city spaces and institutions acting in a cooperative way, formulating public policies and contributing to sustainable development. Its principle is to develop actions that value the nature of each person, that provoke self-knowledge and stimulate a look to the future, in favor of their life projects, but without losing sight of their political and social role in the collective.
