The USS ARIZONA LEGACY FOUNDATION seeks to remember, expand, and nurture the memory of the USS ARIZONA battleship while forging forward the future legacy of the USS ARIZONA SSN-803 Virginia-class fast attack submarine. Ship Sponsor Nikki Stratton and the foundation continue to collaborate with community and service organizations to raise awareness of the heritage and legacy of the USS ARIZONA battleship in order to connect future generations and the submarine’s mission, as it forges its own history. The USS Arizona Legacy Foundation was established under an Arizona Nonprofit entity on May 26th, 2021 and is a federal 501(c)(3) designated private foundation. The foundation will build relationships for sponsorship and commissioning activities with the town of Gilbert, Arizona as municipal sponsor, Gilbert's Veterans Advisory Board, Navy League, and other organizations.
