HKUST Quant Trading Society Overview

Established in September 2023, the HKUST Quant Trading Society is operated by students from the HKUST Master of Science in Financial Mathematics (MAFM) program. Our alumni network encompasses over 10,000 graduates from the HKUST Department of Mathematics. Goals of the HKUST Quant Trading Society: • To assist students in acquiring professional knowledge in quantitative finance and guide them in their career and entrepreneurial pursuits. • To build a robust social network among students, alumni, and industry professionals, thereby broadening their perspectives. • To host quantitative trading competitions in collaboration with industry leaders, aimed at discovering and nurturing future quantitative trading talents and helping them become exceptional quantitative fund managers.
