Up To The BEat is a place to connect and help people take small STEPS (literally & figuratively) to create BIG changes in their health and weight loss journey! Through fun music-led workouts, 30-day nutrition challenges, tips and more. Founded by Gina Buber, an ex ballroom latin dancer turned fitness and nutrition coach. Gina gained more than 25 kilos (50 pounds) after leaving the dance industry and lost her identity, passion, and purpose. Back then, she didn't know what it meant to have a healthy relationship with food and fitness. Gina went from one extreme to the next, trying all kinds of diets that were ultimately never sustainable. After a few pivotal moments, she found a way to bring her love of dance and fuse it with fitness to help her get fit and healthy again. Over a 2 year journey, Gina lost all of her extra weight and found herself again. Not only that, she also gained a better relationship with food and movement. Gina's personal ups and downs inspired her to show others that the fitness journey doesn't have to be a "no pain, no gain" approach. It can be sustainable, manageable and actually enjoyable! This inspired her to launch Up To The BEat, where she shares small steps to improve nutrition, a better mindset and fun workouts that people can easily apply to reignite their fitness journey. Her ultimate goal is to help people achieve the best version of themselves. Whatever their goal might be (lose weight, gain weight, eat better, sleep better, or stress less, she wants to help them to THRIVE through the smallest of steps, so they can create the biggest of change!
