In October 2018, the Vabakala OÜ started its business, which is active in supporting furniture product development. In order to remain competitive, the modern furniture industry needs to be very intensively involved in the product development process. It is constantly necessary to offer new and interesting solutions to the market, which differ from what competitors offer. Product development can also extend the life of product due to improving and updating existing products. Often, the company does not have enough time, skills or finance to hire a full-time product developer for this job. In this case, the Vabakala OÜ is helpful. I was involved in the design of hardwood furniture, production planning as well as the development of new products – introduction to manufacturing processes.
