Vision and AI Lab Overview

More details at https://val.cds.iisc.ac.in/openings.html Vision and AI Lab (VAL) is part of Dept. of Computational and Data Sciences (CDS), Indian Institute of Science (IISc). The wider scope of the laboratory is to develop intelligent systems for analyzing and understanding visual data in the form of images and videos. The ultimate objective of such a system is to simulate human cognition and hence develop the ability to make useful inferences based on the image/video content. We are currently pursuing active research in the following areas and publish research papers in top conference venues such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ACMMM, NeurIPS, ICML etc. - Deep Learning for Vision - Adversarial Robustness of Deep models - Domain Adaptation and Generalization - Unsupervised 3D Human Pose Estimation - Self supervised and semi supervised learning - HDR Imaging - Image Representation - Image Retrieval - Crowd/Traffic Flow Analysis - Image Superresolution - Biomedical Image Processing - Object Segmentation in Image/Video - Anomaly Detection in surveillance https://val.cds.iisc.ac.in/
