Born and raised in Lithuania, Valdone Auksoriute graduated from Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Scotland 2019. She developed a distinctive style of minimal, timeless and feminine design. During her last year of studies, Valdone got selected for the first cohort of RGU Start Up Accelerator Programme. The programme awarded the designer with the start-up grant, intense business training and mentorship.
The RGU Accelertor Programme was the place where the rough idea of sustainable fashion brand was perfected and became a reality.
Together with the business partner Kajetan Swiecki, Valdone Auksoriute incorporated the sustainable luxury fashion brand in July 2019.
VALDONE Au brand focusses on minimising waste in the fashion industry and operates as a made-to-measure online atelier. While celebrating local craftsmanship, ethical production and sustainability, the brand aims to make a positive change in the industry and people’s lives. Encouraging to choose quality over quantity the brand serves the customer with high-end product.
