Valence Romans Mobilités is the public body which funds, builds and organizes the mobilities on Valence and Romans territories (composed of 67 municipalities).
True Transport Organiser Authority of urban transportation and mobilities, this Joint Syndicate ensures 3 main tasks:
- Owner of the infrastructures (maintenance and operation center, et d’exploitation, computer systems, systèmes informatiques, bus pole in Valence, multimodal station in Romans, Gare multimodale de Romans, park and rides,...), vehicules (buses and bikes) and hereditaments. - Transport developer, Valence Romans Mobilités shoulders the construction work of every new project concerning public transportations on its territory, from the design to the commissioning.
The main mission of VRM is promoting the use of public transportations and active mobility (bike, carpool, car-share, walk...) to offer a maximum of (vélo, covoiturage, autopartage, marche à pied …) afin d’offrir un maximum of alternatives to car use because it is important to meet the needs of the territory users.
The stakes are high : concretely and sustainably protect and improve the living environment, the urban coherence and our territory attractiveness, by prioritizing energy savings, environment respect and solidarity between the municipalities composing our territory.
