Vamos Avanzando Inc. is a Non-Profit Organization that provides the Latino community (throughout underserved areas of Los Angeles and the San Gabriel Valley) with job training, mentorship, scholarships, and other social services to improve the lives of their families, advance their professional careers and inspire cultural pride.
The organization provides services through three (3) flagship programs:
- Aspire: Providing job training, professional development, workshops, and other career preparation and advancement resources.
- Inspire: Providing cultural celebrations and education focused on inspiring community members to embrace, accept and celebrate their Hispanic heritage.
- Foundations: Provides members of the community with key resources such as financial literacy training so that they can build strong foundations to support their families and build stability in the household.
While Vamos Avanzando's mission began with addressing inequities and areas of opportunity within the Latino/Hispanic community; VA's programs and services are open to all regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or any other category.
