Varuna Biodiversité Overview

Le programme 𝗩𝗮𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗮, financé par l'AFD et mis en œuvre par Expertise France a pour ambition de 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝑖𝑛𝑒𝑟 𝑙'𝑒́𝑟𝑜𝑠𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑑𝑒 𝑙𝑎 𝑏𝑖𝑜𝑑𝑖𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑠𝑖𝑡𝑒́ 𝑑𝑎𝑛𝑠 𝑙𝑒𝑠 𝑖̂𝑙𝑒𝑠 𝑑𝑢 𝑠𝑢𝑑-𝑜𝑢𝑒𝑠𝑡 𝑑𝑒 𝑙'𝑜𝑐𝑒́𝑎𝑛 𝐼𝑛𝑑𝑖𝑒𝑛, au bénéfice des populations de la région. Il est organisé autour de trois grandes composantes : 1. 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗿𝗲́𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘂𝘅 𝗱’𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗲𝘂𝗿𝘀 𝗿𝗲́𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘂𝘅 pour inciter des efforts coordonnés de préservation de la biodiversité. 2. Soutenir l’intégration des enjeux de 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗲́𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲 𝗮𝘂𝗽𝗿𝗲̀𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗲𝘂𝗿𝘀 𝗲́𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀. 3. Encourager la contribution de la recherche aux 𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘀 𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗲𝘁 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲́𝘁𝗲́ à propos de la biodiversité. Chaque axe comprend deux à trois projets portés par un ou plusieurs partenaires implantés dans la région.
