Vatsalya was set-up as a “Resource Center on Health” in the year 1995 by medical professionals with the objective to make consistent efforts towards ensuring quality health services especially to the poor and marginalized community of rural areas. Vatsalya has been contributing to Uttar Pradesh for last 17 years. To contribute for the consistent endeavor towards enhancing capacity of individuals and communities to understand comprehensive framework of “health” in terms of science and art. Vatsalya has been operational in many districts of Uttar Pradesh working at ground and state level on the issues of child right, health and nutrition. Our prime focus has been to curb female foeticide by advocating the issue for strict implementation of PC-PNDT Act at district, state and national level.
