The build is planned in 3 phases, starting with 5 acres and expanding to 30 acres by the end of year 5. Phase 1 involves the construction and operation of a 5 acre glass greenhouse. Vermillion Growers plans to grow tomatoes-on-vine (TOV). The facilities will be designed to support optimal production of traceable, sustainable and quality produce for the Manitoba and Saskatchewan market.
