About Veterans Yoga Project

Veterans Yoga Project supports recovery and resiliency among our veterans, military families, and their supporting communities. We accomplish this mission by: 1) providing yoga practice resources to veterans, clinicians, and treatment programs 2) providing training for yoga teachers to learn how to safely and effectively provide therapeutic yoga to those recovering from stress- and trauma-related conditions 3) contracting with treatment programs to provide Mindful Resilience yoga as a complementary treatment option 4) supporting empirical research investigating the use of yoga for veterans. 5) providing healing retreats for veterans and their families
