Victoria Bliss is an Australian based label specialising in classic construction and sustainable practices. Each collection is an affirmation of strength through femininity, with the aim to empower its wearer to feel bold and beautiful, fearless and feminine, daring and graceful. Each collection is manufactured entirely on Australian shores using only natural or recycled materials. In embracing the talent of local creators and makers, Victoria Bliss acknowledges and pays homage to the spirit for positive change being driven by the Australian consumer community.
Victoria, who grew up in rural Tasmania has a great appreciation for the beautiful and untouched landscapes our country has to offer and as such, knows the responsibility she as a designer has to our planet by creating minimal impact, sustainable fashion.
Graduating with First Class Honours from RMIT's Bachelor of Fashion (Design) (Honours), Victoria specialised in traditional tailoring and sustainable design practices. Since graduating Victoria has worked for global brands such as Forever New and Zimmermann. She has been awarded a number of design awards and has been selected to show collections in multiple fashion weeks including Australian Fashion Week, Melbourne Fashion Festival and overseas in New Zealand and China.
Combining premium design and classic construction with an ethos of conscious sustainability and ethical production, Victoria Bliss focusses on an entire look rather than individual pieces. Meaning each garment is designed to be worn back with one another to create multiple outfits and can be easily integrated into their wearers' wardrobes. The wearability and in turn, longevity of each garment is a key factor in the label's sustainable design process.
