During the 1980s, horror films were growing increasingly violent and graphic, leading to public outcry in the UK to ban the offending films. The UK government started to review hundreds of VHS tapes and began banning the films they deemed inappropriate. Films such as The Evil Dead and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre were banned as a result of this. These and other banned films were given the colloquial name VIDEO NASTIES.
Born out of Sydney, Australia, we are a video production company dedicated to bringing high quality content to any and all screens. Comprised of several up and coming filmmakers, our dedication and passion towards bringing creative ideas to life is the driving force behind our mission.
