The Water Prospecting and Drilling Company – VIKUV Zrt – was founded in 1868 by merging of several smaller Hungarian water well drilling companies. The former government owned enterprise was trnasformed in 1993 into a joint-stock company and privatised 100%.
Throughout its long period of activity VIKUV has been a water drilling company efficiently cooperating with the Hungarian Water Research Institute – VIKTUKI, with the Hungarian Water Design Institute – VIZITERV, with the Hungarian Water Investment Company – OVIBER, and other similar research institutes, contributing to the implementation of important hydrogeological projects both in Hungary and abroad.
The main activities and services are:
