Village Pizza Kitchen is an award-winning pizzeria based in the picturesque village of Hurstpierpoint, West Sussex. We are passionate about showcasing amazing British produce and supporting local producers, which is reflected in many of the ingredients we use in both our pizza and pasta dishes.
We make a long ferment biga pizza dough using a blend of stoneground wholegrain and 00 flours sourced directly from ancient mills in the Cotswolds, resulting in pizzas which are light and airy with rich and complex flavours.
We are incredibly proud to have been crowned the UK's Best Independent Pizza Takeaway & Delivery Store in 2023, to have come second in the 2022 National Pizza Awards in two of the three main categories - 'Best Pizza' and 'Best Pizza Chef' and to have last year been shortlisted for 'Best Pizzaria' in the UK Italian Awards, 'Pizza Chef of the Year' in the Pizza, Pasta & Italian Association Awards and Arla Pro's 'Britain's Best Pizza' award.
In addition to our premises on Hurstpierpoint High Street, we have a dedicated kiosk inside the iconic American Express Stadium in Brighton, where we serve Detroit style pizza by the slice to Brighton & Hove Albion fans on match days. You can also now find our pizzas in the Amex's corporate hospitality lounges!
