Viramal’s lead product, TestoCream, is expected to be filed for a New Drug Application to the FDA in the US in 2017/18. TestoCream is a testosterone replacement therapy, similar to a cosmetic cream, applied to the skin. Unlike competing products, TestoCream is neither messy nor watery, requiring a smaller area for application, and it is also quick drying. Testosterone is only soluble in alcohol, with competing products having an alcohol content of around 70% or more. TestoCream offers a far safer alternative, having less than 3.5% alcohol, reducing the risk of skin irritation.
