VIRIDIAN is a community created by and for individuals with multicultural experiences with Japanese roots. VIRIDIAN Magazine celebrates emerging talents, shining a spotlight on music, art, and academia. Our mission is to uplift these creatives by sharing their journeys—showcasing the challenges they’ve overcome to become who they are today.
Our first issue was launched in December 2023, and since then, we’ve continued to foster a community both online and offline. As we prepare to release our second issue in the summer of 2025, our team has grown from a two-person operation four years ago to a dedicated collective of 14 members. Each member brings a unique multicultural background, creating a space where those with shared experiences can connect, collaborate, and tell their stories.
VIRIDIAN（ビリジアン）は、日本にルーツを持ち、多文化の中で育った人々が集うコミュニティです。VIRIDIAN Magazineでは、音楽・アート・学術など様々な分野で活躍する人々に脚光を当て、彼らがどのように困難を乗り越え、今の自分を築いてきたのかを発信しています。多文化的なルーツを誇りに思えるヒントや、「自分らしく」生きるための視点を提供するバイリンガルマガジンです。
本誌は2023年12月に創刊され、それ以来、オンラインとリアルの両方で活気あるコミュニティを築いてきました。2025年夏に第2号を発行予定です。4年前は2人体制でスタートしたこのプロジェクトも、現在は14名のチームへと成長しました。メンバー全員が多文化的なバックグラウンドを持ち、同じような経験を持つ人々がつながり、協力し、物語を共有できる場を創り出しています。
